HEAD down to the Erskine Park Rural Fire Brigade Station on Saturday, when it will open the shutters for its open day.
There will be a jumping castle, a clown, temporary tattooing, a sausage sizzle, other emergency services on display and a snake and reptile show.
The day begins at 9.30am and finishes at 2.30pm. Corner of Luddenham and Mamre roads, St Clair.
At the Orchard Hills Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade, there will be firefighting demonstrations including a mock house fire.
The Orchard Hills open day runs from 10am to 4pm. Corner of Castle and Ulm roads, Orchard Hills.
The open days are part of a statewide open day for Rural Fire Service brigades. Most of the other Penrith stations to be open on the day, including Londonderry, which will be hosting a car show, Regentville, Mulgoa, Wallacia and Llandilo.
