CONTEMPORARY STYLE

Contemporary garden design is concerned with current lifestyle trends, popular culture and modern art, innovation and originality in gardens. Vivid colours and abstract patterns combined with unique uses of lighting, textures and space, create an outdoor area that magnifies the beauty of nature with the sophistication of modern living.

TROPICAL STYLE

Tropical landscape design is a fun, vibrant and lush outdoor space that complements a variety of architectural styles. Exotic style gardens provide a relaxing escape from the busy everyday routine. We are lucky enough to have some very hardy plants which will survive in cooler climates.

MEDITERRANEAN STYLE

The Mediterranean landscape design evokes visions of crystal water and lush vegetation while creating thoughts of relaxation with family and friends and savoury cuisine made with aromatic herbs.

JAPANESE STYLE

Japanese gardens blend culture, religion and tradition into nature. Most Japanese gardens are created for meditation purposes. Symbolism forms the backbone of a successful Japanese garden design. This style is probably the most difficult to get perfect.

FORMAL STYLE

A formal garden would match any building with straight boundaries. Geometry and proportions are important. Symmetry, perspective and pattern play a key role in the formal garden design. The plan works outward from the house's doors and windows.

INFORMAL STYLE

The informal garden is a practical, workable garden. Balance is an important design aspect of this style. Informal balance relies heavily on soft curving lines, undulating levels and slopes and bold curved lines also work well. A few well placed focal points contribute to the harmony of this landscaping style.

TUSCAN STYLE

Bring a bit of Italy home in a Tuscan landscaping idea. Paint your home in earthy tones. Dry, earthy shades of ochre, dusky pink and muted gold blend in with the rustic farmhouse types. Tuscan furniture is normally cafe styled.

COTTAGE STYLE

The cottage garden is a formal garden style. This means that the garden is balanced on both sides of the garden's central line. A cottage garden normally contains culinary herbs, flowers, vegetables and fruit.

MEDITATION STYLE

Fragrant plants contribute to meditation and garden colours determine moods. Plants affect your physical and mental well-being. Quiet spaces balanced with sound, sight and smell merge well for the success in meditation garden designs.
