Mel Leyshon, CEO of Production Automotive, won the business person of the year award.

Both Mrs Leyshon and Mrs Kemp paid tribute to the Penrith Valley Chamber of Commerce for its role in supporting and furthering businesses in Penrith.

As each team leader spoke to packed Evan Theatre - even then almost 200 people had to be turned away so next year a larger venue in Panthers is being planned - many gave credit to the teams behind them in contributing to the year's success.
