IT'S been another mixed bag of results for local teams in the soccer state league.
Nepean FC remain second last on the division two table after a 1-0 loss against Fairfield Wanderers at Cook Park, St Marys.
A goal in the 11th minute was enough for the visitors to claim the three points and stay top of the table.
It was Nepean FC's third loss of the season with just one win and four draws so far in their first season back in the state league.
Nepean FC hope to bounce back and cause an upset against second-placed Roosters FC at The Hills Sports High School on Sunday at 3pm.
Further up the mountains, ninth-placed Springwood United also suffered their third loss of the season against Roosters FC last weekend.
They travel to Bensons Lane Field this Saturday to tackle hosts Hawkesbury City SC at 5pm.
Hawkesbury are in fourth place, coming off a 2-1 win against Prospect United.
Meanwhile, in the NSW Premier League, reigning champions Blacktown City FC remain second last with two wins after a 1-0 loss against Rockdale at Lily Homes Stadium, Seven Hills. They face a tough battle with fourth-placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles on Sunday.
