Football with a beat in Penrith in July

KEEP your eyes on the ball because a unique sporting tournament, Red Bull Street Style, is heading Down Under in a search of Australia's best freestyle footballer.

Red Bull Street Style breaks new ground in the sporting industry combining music, control, style and creativity all in one game.

The rules are simple: one ball, two players, three minutes and no hands.

Each competitor must also try to co-ordinate their footwork skills in time with the beat of the music to score points for creativity and style.

The qualifying events are free to enter and open to people of all ages and skill levels.

The winner of the national final will go on to represent Australia and compete against the world's best athletes in the Red Bull Street Style world final in April 2010.

Qualifying event: Jamison Park, York Road, Penrith, Tuesday, July 14. Registration 6pm. qualifiers start 6.30pm.
