IT was the fourth win for The Bears at home on Sunday evening, after a convincing victory over the Gold Coast Blue Tongues, 7-1.
The Bears had impressive pace and attack throughout the game keeping the pressure on the Tongues defence, Bears coach Vlad Rubes was definitely impressed with the team.
``We tried to keep a good tempo, it's been heavy skating in previous weeks, but we have been building confidence having less players earlier this season,'' he said.
The first period set the tone for the rest of the game, with the first two goals scored easily. The Tongues tried coming back with 10 shots at goal but couldn't get back to The Bears, who only had four shots at goal.
