Lunar new year
To celebrate the Year of the Snake, Australia Post will release a lunar new year stamp issue featuring the Chinese character for the snake in the $1.80 stamp, and its pictorial representation in the 60¢ stamp.
The stamps and associated products are now available.
A postal and numismatic cover featuring the minisheet and an uncirculated $1 Perth Mint coin are available as will a minisheet, zodiac sheetlet, first-day cover, stamp pack and other products.

Clarifications
Last week we ran an article, "Special Olympics Champions stand proud", which stated that the Special Olympics offers sporting activities for people with mild intellectual disabilities in the Penrith and Blue Mountains regions. In fact, all levels of disability are covered, for all ages.
And in an item on Keira Warda (page 9) it was stated that she was awarded 99.7 per cent in religious studies. In fact, she achieved a score of 100 per cent.
The errors are regretted.
