IF you couldn't get to the recent Country Music Festival in Tamworth, the next best thing happens in St Marys this Saturday.
Some of Australia's best country acts, including Catherine Britt, husband and wife duo O'Shea and sister act The Sunny Cowgirls, will be in town to perform and to meet fans.
The three acts will perform in Coachmans Park, followed by a meet-and-greet autograph signing session at St Marys Sound Centre.
All have recently released albums, while Britt received a Golden Guitar for Female Artist of the Year in Tamworth last month.
It's been three years since The Sunny Cowgirls' Celeste and Sophie Clabburn visited St Marys.
"We're looking forward to it as St Marys has a good vibe," Celeste told the Star. "It gives us good motivation."
It will be a long day for the girls, who have a gig in Orange the night before.
They will spend time in St Marys before their gig at Rooty Hill RSL that night as part of their national tour.
It's been a busy start to 2013 with the recent release of their 14-track album What We Do. "It feels like our most honest album yet," Celeste said.
■ O'Shea will perform in Coachmans Park at 11am, The Sunny Cowgirls at 1pm, followed by Catherine Britt at 2.30pm. The Sunny Cowgirls will perform at Rooty Hill RSL from 8pm.
Tickets are $29.50, call 9625 5500.
