Get organised for HSC

HERE are some great tips from gooduniguide.com.au to help you better prepare for university, TAFE or high school:

● Make a plan:

If you plan to attend multiple open days, make sure you have assigned a date and time for each. With many great options, try to make a shortlist of the places you'd really like to see. If an open day you wish to attend conflicts with another, then make an effort to visit the schools website or give them a call to find out more information.

● Come prepared:

Check out the schedules for the day; if there is a particular tour or event you want to see plan your day so that you can attend. Find out parking and traffic information in advance — you don't want to be late because you couldn't find parking. Bring a family member or a friend to give you a second opinion; this also works for parents selecting a high school for their child.

● Talk to the right people:

Never be afraid to ask questions.

If there are students available, have a chat to them about what they enjoy about the school; this might give both future students and parents a great perspective for attending this particular school or university.

● Explore:

Take a look around the school grounds, and explore classrooms, outdoor areas, the hall and the library.

● And most importantly, have fun:

Choosing a school should be a joyful experience, and you should be able to enjoy the process.
