IT HAS been a busy off-season for the Penrith Panthers.
In between battling negotiating the eclectic western Sydney weather, the largest pre-season school blitz, leadership talks with prominent figures and a lingering doping investigation, the new-look Panthers have managed to churn out an undefeated pre-season on the field.
It started out in Bathurst with a last-gasp 34-32 win against Wests Tigers, followed by a comprehensive 32-18 victory against the Warriors at Waikato Stadium.
The Panthers rounded off their preparations for the season with a 10-all draw against the Parramatta Eels in the Battle of the West.
