Member for Mulgoa Tanya Davies made a surprise visit to Gow Park during a midweek Landcare session last week, to award Lisa Harrold a NSW Government Community Service Award.
Ms Harrold, of Mulgoa Valley Landcare, was presented with her award years she has devoted to protecting and conserving the natural environment of Western Sydney.
“Lisa is the president of the Mulgoa Valley Landcare Group and has been associated with other conservation groups and projects in Western Sydney for many years,’’ Mrs Davies said.
“The commitment of her time and energy is just incredible.’’
