Come one, come all for the fun, old and new, at this year’s Camden Show.
This Friday and Saturday Camden’s ever-popular show will be on at the Camden Showground.
Camden Show Society president David Head said there were activities and attractions for the whole family.
‘‘I’m looking forward to seeing the lumberjack show,’’ he said.
‘‘I’ve seen them before, they are a group out of Canada and they put on a really entertaining show of skill. There are a few heart-stopping moments and a bit of comedy thrown in as well.’’
Mr Head said a new lifestyle pavilion was sure to be a big attraction, with all sorts of displays for the home and the garden.
‘‘The rodeo and the night show are always great entertainment, with the fireworks on the Saturday night,’’ he said.
He said the members of the Camden Show Society worked hard all year to put the show together and it was exciting to see everything coming together.
‘‘It is great family entertainment. It is a great atmosphere when everyone comes along.’’
Other attractions that are sure to be popular include the rides, the animal shows and the horsemanship demonstrations.
‘‘We’re very proud of our Paddock to Plate display,’’ Mr Head said.
‘‘We put a lot of effort into educating people on where their food comes from and milk doesn’t grow on a shelf in the supermarket.’’
The Camden Show opens on Friday and runs until Saturday night.
