PENRITH City Centre will host its first "Cuppa of Experience" Seniors Expo to help celebrate Seniors Week in the local community.
Penrith City Centre chief executive Gai Hawthorn said the expo was a great event for the newly renovated Memory Park and an opportunity for the community to celebrate alongside seniors.
"They are special and sometimes people forget that we need to stop, listen and help them engage back into the community," she said.
Local businesses and stalls will be available to the public on the day including Medicare, health and beauty, transport concessions, legal advice and more.
Vintage FM will also be there to entertain and run music games for seniors to win a few local prizes and have fun reminiscing to some great tunes.
Local residents attending the expo will receive a Penrith CBD goodie bag with local information and be able to meet new people from the area.
"Cuppa of Experience" attendees can expect to receive a voucher to have morning tea at a few local cafes surrounding the event," Ms Hawthorn said.
"We would like to see this become an annual event."
The expo will be held on Tuesday, March 19 from 9.30am to 12.30pm at Memory Park. Entry to the event is free and is open to all ages.
