Last night (Thursday 14 March) 40 business leaders and rowers from Zimbabwe, Estonia and South Korea met at Outback Steakhouse, Penrith, as guests of John Capes.
Mr Capes, Minuteman Press, hosted the event to thank advertisers who had contributed to the coupon book he produced to commemorate the World Rowing Event which starts at the Regatta Centre on Monday.
‘‘I am hoping to set a trend to encourage shoppers to support our businesses whenever Penrith hosts a major event,’’ Mr Capes said.
Mr Capes and his team will be handing out the coupon books out at the Penrith festival tomorro, Saturday 16 March.
