A teenager was stabbed and three people charged following an incident at a home in South Penrith yesterday.
Shortly after 4.15pm Thursday, March 21, police were advised that a teenage boy had been stabbed during a fight on the front lawn of a home in Dallas Avenue.
Penrith police and paramedics attended the location and established a crime scene.
A 16-year-old boy was treated at the scene for three stab wounds to the chest, abdomen and face.
He was taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Investigators commenced their search for the three occupants of a car that was seen to leave Dallas Avenue after the boy was injured.
About 6.45pm yesterday, a 16-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy and their 49-year-old mother attended Penrith police station where they were arrested.
They were all subsequently charged with wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The two boys were bail refused to appear at Parramatta Children’s Court today, March 22, while the woman was bail refused to appear at Penrith Local Court today.
