JOSEPH Gomes and his family from Rosehill are soon to be new residents to Glenmore Park.
The small family is moving into the area in a few weeks. They are upgrading from an old-style three-bedroom house in a busy street to a modern four-bedroom house with large yards at the front and back.
Mr Gomes said his family looked forward to the move and the new life in a different area.
"It's a much better and quieter residential area," he said.
"There are schools and shopping centres nearby, the public transport system is better — whatever you need on a day to day basis."
Glenmore Park was up to $100,000 cheaper than houses around Parramatta."
